My booth kept me from seeing the whole sets of all of the acts, but what i did see was awesome. For a first timer, you certainly didn't ease into it with a few local acts, a regional act or two and 1 headliner, you loaded the bill with top notch stars. Great job. "as a big fan of blues festivals and blues bands i have to admit that this years daytona blues festival was one for blues festival hall of fame..with thunder and lighning all around us on friday...and a tropical storm marching in for the weekend...i thought the odds of not having a festival were at 100 per cent...but the crew that does this fest would not let it die...they moved it inside to an awesome place..the news journal..and the rest is history..really looking forward for the 2012 fest...this fest will go on..no matter what"

"My south Florida friends told me I should come to Daytona for the Daytona Blues Festival last year, so I packed for sun and blues. We'll the sun part didn't work out so well, but the blues part was phenomenal. I was truly impressed with the quality line up of artists, and the venues, both Jackie Robinson Ballpark, and the hurricane alternate set up site at the news auditorium. Both venues provided great intimacy and great listening environments.
You'll have to put up with me for years to come, as i have it on my radar as one of the best for blues music. See you in October!"
